How to iterate through the files in a directory using Python in a dictionary?

Hi I am very new to Python programming. I need to store file names of a directory inside a Python dictionary for further processing. I want to do this while iterating through the directory. While doing so I want to avoid files with a.py extension.
I have a list of files like:
File[0]: January2011.py
File[1]: February2012.py
File[2]: July2011.py
File[3]: Februare2012.py
…

I need the equivalent dictionary, as follows:
{‘January2011’: ‘January2011.py’, ‘February2012’: ‘February2012.py’}
{‘January2011’: ‘July2011.py’, ‘February2012’: ‘Februare2012.py’}

Can anyone help me get this done?

Here is one approach. It just walks the files in a directory and keeps a dictionary of values.

Segmentation Fault while using Template Class

I am just trying to understand how to use Template Classes (I am new to them).
For the following example, I have created a class ‘Hut’ which has no member variables. However, a function accept a template class object ‘Hut’ and a template Class ‘Bucket’ as inputs. I want to find the number of buckets in each hut.

(As you can see, it fails at runtime)
